, ,Position Description
The Marketing Coordinator will contribute to existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with company goals. This can include graphic design, content development, media management, website management, and event marketing. The Marketing Coordinator will also assist with scheduling project photography.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a range of marketing functions, including social media, digital marketing, and aligning brand messaging. Seeking an organized, self-starter who is also creative and can take ownership of tasks.
Top Five Responsibilities
- Provide creative material, develop social media content, and manage marketing collateral.
- Proofread communication materials and presentations for accuracy and consistency.
- Oversee the company's social media calendar and schedule content on the appropriate platforms.
- Organize, maintain, and coordinate marketing resources.
- Assist with the SEO and website initiatives, including posting approved content.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand messaging and strategy across various mediums.
- Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals.
- Coordinate and produce needed resources, including graphic design and document publishing.
- Organize, inventory, and coordinate marketing resources, including but not limited to project management and technical team input, organizational information and certificates/licenses, photography, graphics, and project details.
- Assist in implementing, writing, and editing press releases and other media.
- Represent company to clients, architects, engineers, peer organizations, and business associates.
- Participate in media events, civic and professional group meetings, client industry trade associations, and community and industry activities, as directed, to enhance the image of the company.
- Collaborate with Project Executives, Project Managers, and Superintendents to provide support for marketing needs, as well as solicit project information as needed.
- Participate in training and knowledge-sharing activities and demonstrate progressive ability over time to incorporate best practices into daily work assignments.
- Perform self-check of work products and coordinate independent quality control review in accordance with quality procedures. Other duties as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, advertising, communications, business or similar field.
- Past work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role.
- Prior related experience in or knowledge of the A/E/C industry and procurement processes preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing. Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Preferred 2+ years of experience in graphic design, social media, marketing, communications, or similar experience.
- Preferred 2+ years of experience with graphic design related software. Preferred Adobe Creative Cloud Suite experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy and represent the organization in public.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Salary Range: $31.00 to $36.00 hourly
